Harpreet Sood, MD MPH

Dr. Harpreet Sood is the Co-Founder and Medical Director of Skai Health. Trained and practised as a medical doctor, Dr. Sood has built a career in clinical medicine, digital health, policy, and entrepreneurship. His experience covers leading health systems across the UK, Europe, North America, and the Middle East.

At Skai Health, Dr. Sood is driving a new model of care that combines trusted physician-led services with advanced diagnostics, AI-driven insights, and personalised health optimisation. His vision is to transform how people access and experience healthcare, shifting from reactive treatment to proactive, preventive care that enhances quality of life and longevity.

Previously, Dr. Sood held senior leadership roles across healthcare, government, academia, and the private sector. He served as Associate Chief Clinical Information Officer at The NHS England, where he led national digital health initiatives and co-founded the NHS Digital Academy. As Senior Fellow to the NHS CEO, he advised on innovation in the NHS and contributed to major national programmes including the Diabetes Prevention Programme. He later served as Vice President for Primary Care at Huma, scaling digital-first care models globally, and as a GP Partner within one of London’s largest primary care networks.

A recognised authority on digital health, AI, and preventive medicine, Dr. Sood advises governments, investors, and technology companies across the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. A Visiting Fellow at the University of Oxford, he sits on several global advisory boards shaping the future of healthcare. With a deep belief in bridging East and West, Dr. Sood is committed to bringing world-class, technology-enabled healthcare models to the Middle East, empowering people to live longer, healthier lives through proactive care.
